This is a picture of Erik H. Haupt; he was president of the NAA at the time this picture was taken. Erik served for many years on the NAA Board of Directors. He was on the first committee to write ANSI safety standards for the industry. He also served as the chairman of the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers. At the time of his death in December 1992, he was the incoming President of the American Society of Consulting Arborists. Erik was very dedicated to the Tree care industry, and gave much of his time serving the industry in various capacities.
