TCI EXPO to close earlier on the last day
As many of you recall, at the exhibitor’s breakfast in 2008 exhibitors voted overwhelmingly to shorten the Saturday show hours. When making your travel arrangements, please note that TCI EXPO will officially end at 1 pm Saturday. Thursday’s show hours (9:57 am – 4:00 pm) and Friday’s show hours (9:00 am – 4:00 pm) remain the same, while Saturday show hours are shortened (9:00 am – 1:00 pm).
The earlier close time was implemented in Baltimore and met with great success. TCIA will continue to close the floor at 1 pm on Saturday in Pittsburgh.
An earlier closing hour – coupled with a centrally located East Coast location and very strong air service at Pittsburgh – should allow most exhibitors to be home Saturday evening.

Please note that while all meeting attendees are invited to the exhibition, any attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, in another company’s booth, or in violation of any portion of the TCIA Exhibition Policy will be asked to leave immediately. Additional penalties may be applied. Please report any violations you may observe to show management.
Enforcement Policy
1. On the first violation, the individual’s registration file is marked and a letter of explanation sent to the offender and his/her organizational supervisor.
2. The second offense results in a letter of reprimand, again to the individual and the organization, stating that the individual offender is banned from TCIA events for 12 months.
3. Third offense results in a letter indicating that all representatives from that organization may be barred from TCIA events for 24 months unless extenuating circumstances can be demonstrated. TCIA reserves the right to make final judgment in such cases.
4. Show management is responsible for informing the violators of the infraction and any penalties. Additionally, management maintains all marked registration records.
