TCIA Site Requirements

The Tree Care Industry Association site should display properly on any monitor. However, it was optimized for the following settings:

-  Monitor Resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels
-  High Color (16 bit) or better 
-  Internet Explorer version 5.0 and higher
-  Netscape Navigator version 4.0 and higher

To change your monitor resolution:

-  Click on Start
-  Select Settings
-  Select Control Panel
-  Select Display
-  Click on the Settings tab
-  Move the arrow in Screen Area to the proper resolution (1024 by 768 pixels)
-  Click OK
-  Click OK again under Display Properties
-  Click Yes under Monitor Settings

To change your display colors:

-  Click on Start
-  Select Settings
-  Select Control Panel
-  Select Display
-  Click on the Settings tab
-  Choose from the dropdown box under Colors (high color 16 bit or better)
-  Click OK
-  Click OK again under Display Properties
-  Click Yes under Monitor Settings

To determine what version browser you have:

-  Open up your browser
-  Click on Help
-  Select "About Internet Explorer" or "About Netscape Navigator"
