Crew Leader Qualification Workshop Coming to Annapolis Junction, MD July 25th
Aspiring, new and veteran crew leaders: The crew leader has a critical role in the arboricultural industry. TCIA has designed the new Qualified Crew Leader Certificate to complement the recently-updated Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual.
This one-day, interactive workshop led by instructors Bob Mead, CTSP of Mead Tree and Turf Care, Inc. and Gary Ickes, CTSP of Ickes Tree Service will take you through a series of nine activities to help hone your leadership skills, covering the following topics:
- Client communication
- Crew professionalism
- Motivating and training crew members
- Effectively handling conflict
At the end of the workshop you will take an exam. Pending review, you have the potential to earn the Qualified Crew Leader Certificate! Please note: Completion of the Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual is required prior to attending the workshop.
The next Crew Leader Qualification Workshop will take place in Annapolis Junction, MD on July 25, 2018, 8:00am – 5:00pm at Vermeer Mid Atlantic (8830 Corridor Rd, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701). The price is $295 for TCIA members/$399 for non-members and includes workshop materials and lunch (the cost of the Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual is separate and must be purchased and completed prior to the workshop). Crew Leader Qualification Workshop participants will earn 6.5 ISA and CTSP CEUs.
