Welcome to the Arborist Safety Training Institute (ASTI), a program of the TCIA Foundation! Our mission is to help provide a local and affordable resources for quality safety training, specifically designed for working arborists.

As you may know, arborists face unique hazards every day on the job. While many receive some form of informal safety training, too many still risk their lives due to inadequate training. That’s where ASTI comes in. We offer grants for job and safety training to help minimize injuries and deaths, and to promote overall workforce safety.

TCIA is offering FREE half and full-day virtual workshops to further employee training and education on Electrical Hazards Awareness Program (EHAP), Ground Operations, and Aerial Lift Safety. These workshops are funded by the Susan Harwood Grant program from The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The popular Robert Felix Memorial Golf & Fishing Tournament at TCIA’s annual Winter Management Conference (WMC) is a great way to indulge in an afternoon of guilt-free golf while supporting students in arboriculture.
