Earn CEUs
Many arborists are required to earn continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain their credentials. Below is a list of TCIA programs, events and training suggestions for CEU sources:

*After completing an EHAP workshop, you can get an additional 7.5 ISA and CTSP CEUs by submitting tests and other requirements to TCIA.

- TCI EXPO
This annual conference combines the unparalleled value of a first class conference education with a trade show floor packed with hundreds of exhibitors. Attend live demonstrations, forums and roundtables, win prizes and giveaways, and more.
- Winter Management Conference (WMC)
Take part in high-powered business roundtables, engage in lively forums and learn practical strategies that you can apply directly to your own business. WMC also blends custom-designed recreational tours such as snorkeling trips with plenty of downtime for relaxation.
- TCIA Training Center
TCIA is always adding information about new events and workshops to our Training Center. Many of the events, including webinars, give CEUs for attendance.
- TreeWorker Safety Articles
Write a brief safety article for The TreeWorker's CTSP column and receive 2 CTSP CEUs! In order to qualify for CTSP CEUs, the selected article for publication must be 400-600 words in length and highlight your experiences with safety in arboriculture.
Email your article proposal to Tchukki Andersen, staff arborist, at tandersen@tcia.org and you will be contacted. The TreeWorker staff will evaluate and publish appropriate submissions for CEUs. Limit: 4 printed articles per year.
- TCI Magazine
The most widely-read periodical in the industry, TCI Magazine offers a chance to earn .25 CTSP CEUs via a quiz provided every other month. Fill out the quizzes, and return them to TCIA for scoring.
- Blog for TCIA
If you are a current or aspiring CTSP interested in sharing safety expertise with other tree care professionals, you can earn 2 safety program CEUs by writing a brief safety article for the TCIA.org Blog.
