Americorps, a non-profit organization currently serving in New Jersey for Hurricane Sandy relief, is looking for trained arborists to help restore public and private areas in Monmouth County.
Private homeowners need help with trees that are threatening structures, stump removal and other key issues. Many popular recreation areas like Sandy Hook National Park or Cheesequake State Park are still reporting massive numbers of downed trees, or are still closed because of extreme damage.
