When it comes to tree care businesses, Accreditation can’t be beat for giving companies the tools to strengthen the foundation of their businesses and construct a successful future.
And while you may know the value of Accreditation, how do you pass along that information to your customers?
Here are just a few marketing ideas implemented by Accredited TCIA members:
Social Media: Why not meet your customers on the websites where they are already spending their time? Utilize Facebook, Twitter, and more to share news and information about your Accreditation. They will start to appreciate the time, effort and hard work you are putting in to your company. Embark Services shares their news with followers on Twitter– they like to feel“in-the-know.”
Website Promotion:You worked hard to be accredited – make sure your customers know it! Use your website to educate your customers on what Accreditation is, why it’s so important, and why your company is the best choice. For some example, check out Davey Tree. They have a section on their website devoted to Accreditation; so does SavATree.
Videos:YouTube is the second most-used search engine in the world (following Google, obviously). Why not take a few moments and make a video about your company and your Accreditation? Bill Miller, general manager for Buckley Tree Service in New Berlin, Wisconsin, made a video (see below) to explain why TCIA Accreditation is important for his tree care business. A video like this can be posted on a website, shared in social media, emailed, etc. – be creative!
And don’t forget: These ideas can be adjusted to meet any of your marketing needs! Questions on marketing or Accreditation? Contact TCIA!
