We’re offering plenty of exciting programs and excursions at Winter Management Conference (WMC), which takes place at Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island, Bahamas February 2 – 6. Some of them are new, but others, such as our popular Voice for Trees (VFT) Political Action Committee Gala and Auction, are tried and true staples of the conference.
The highlight of every WMC, the VFT Auction provides a unique opportunity to raise money to advance the tree care industry’s interests in Washington.
The Voice for Trees PAC was formed in early 2004, and serves to amplify the tree care industry’s influence on Capitol Hill to promote the legislative and regulatory climate affecting the green industry. The annual VFT Auction provides industry leaders with a fun, entertaining way of making financial contributions to this important mission – all while bidding on a host of exciting auction items!
This year’s auction items include great deals on hunting trips, unique jewelry, vacations, equipment rentals, and more treasures that you can't get anywhere else! Here’s a sneak preview:
Alaskan Bear Hunt
Prince William Sound boasts the highest concentration of trophy bears on earth, and there is no better way to score a bear than along the pristine coast of Alaska aboard a private yacht. Only this year’s VFT Auction gives you the chance to bid on this one-of-a-kind hunt!
The talented artist Barbara Hopkins has once again created an original, handmade piece of jewelry just for this year’s VFT Dinner & Auction. This unique sterling silver leaf features a beautiful texture that can only be created by fusing 24K gold to the leaf, under high heat and pressure.
An Irishman’s Heart is Nothing but His Imagination
Unwind in front of the fieldstone fireplace, or relax on the deck and gaze over the lush fields and nearby ocean in the cozy cottage of Baile na Ratha North. Nestled amid the most westerly point of Ireland, in the Irish-speaking parish of Dun Chaoin, this sweet cottage features three bedrooms, endless charm and easy access to authentic Irish dining, shops, and historical ruins.
Join us on Wednesday, February 5 in The Fathoms, a unique indoor, underwater Atlantis venue, for an evening of networking, a cocktail reception, dinner and the auction.
Please note: This event requires separate registration. Cocktail attire is requested. To learn more about the event and to register, click here.
