We’ve spoken to the Baltimore Convention Center and surrounding hotels – they are reporting minimal damage and assuring us that everything is up and running. We know many of our tree care companies will be working, but we hope they take a well deserved break to attend TCI EXPO to reenergize their crew, pick up needed supplies & gear (at great show-only prices) and make potential connections for contract storm work.
As you may remember, despite an unprecedented early blizzard that wreaked havoc on Connecticut last year, leaving many downed trees and much of the Northeast without power, thousands made their way to TCI EXPO. We were happily surprised to learn that many reported it was their best show ever! And it was a great opportunity for attendees traveling to the region. They enjoyed the show, took care of needed training and, at the same time, picked up extra work and lent a hand to local colleagues faced with the overwhelming task of restoring order and necessary services to the region. Plus local homeowners had safe, reliable, professional tree care services available to them—a real boost for the industry. What started out looking pretty grim turned out to be an energizing and unifying experience.
We share your concerns and have high hopes for TCI EXPO 2012 in Baltimore. Learn more about the show here.
