Attendees, who flew in from all over the country, spent the day networking, attending the conference and visiting legislators on the Hill.
Twenty-seven small business owners and tree care professionals attended the event, and completed 20 visits with staffers and legislators under the guidance of Voice of Tree Care PAC, TCIA’s political action committee.
Voice of Tree Care PAC provides a way for tree care professionals to support or oppose particular legislation, and works to influence regulatory bodies such as OSHA and the EPA.
If you would like learn more about how you can take a more active role in the tree care industry's government relations efforts, please contact Mark Garvin, TCIA President, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (603) 314-5380.
