Roadcheck 2012, happening June 5-7, is a commercial vehicle safety enforcement and education campaign organized by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA).
During these three days, approximately 10,000 inspectors in 1,500 locations across the country will conduct comprehensive North American Standard Level I Inspections. These inspections will focus on vehicle brake systems and preventing driver fatigue through hours-of-service compliance checks.
According to the CVSA website, “since its inception in 1988, the roadside inspections conducted during Roadcheck have numbered over 1 Million, resulting in more than 220 lives saved and 4,045 injuries avoided.”
Be prepared for these impromptu inspections and keep your drivers and vehicles ready and safe. Learn more at the CVSA website.
