The Tree Care Apprentice program is designed for new employees or employees who need a refresher course in basic safety training. This program is available in both English and Spanish.

Hazards in tree care and how to avoid them
How to work safely as a member of a tree care crew
CEUs: 1.5 ISA CEUs / 1.5 CTSP CEUs
Use the Tree Care Apprentice manual to help train your employees. In addition to the manual, you should include on-the-job training.

Use the checklist provided in the Tree Care Apprentice manual to verify and document that the enrollee has learned the required skills to be considered qualified according to OSHA and ANSI Z133.1 standards.
