Rich started Alpha Pension Group in 2003 with a simple mission: to enable hard-working people to retire with dignity. As the CEO, Rich sets Alpha’s strategy and culture; develops new business opportunities and partnerships; collaborates on the Investment Committee; and leads the team in its efforts to deliver superior client service to the businesses and not-for-profit organizations that Alpha serves.
Rich’s favorite part of his job is meeting with companies to see if Alpha can be a resource to their organization and positively impact their employees. Rich is proud to say that Alpha employees are neither investment managers nor benefit brokers; they are consultants with a singular focus: helping companies raise the standards of their retirement plan.
Prior to Alpha, Rich gained extensive retirement plan knowledge and experience at MFS Investment Management. Rich determined that there was a need for independent objective investment fiduciaries to help companies establish cost-effective, competitive retirement plans and educate employees to help them prepare effectively for retirement. This belief ultimately led Rich to the vision and conviction to develop the comprehensive business model of Alpha: a company wholly devoted to time-tested retirement planning and consulting.
Rich is excited to collaborate with TCIA and its members on the implementation of the 401(k) retirement plan services as the financial advisor providing investment fiduciary services to TCIA. Our team is ready to assist the members and its employees by providing guidance on the opportunity of retirement success.
