  • How long has the Dynamic Benchmarking platform been used for the TCIA Wage and Benefit survey?

    • The TCIA Wage and Benefit Survey has been utilizing the Dynamic Benchmarking platform for two years now. The 2020 survey will mark the third-year members can complete the online survey and have unlimited access to the results and reports.
  • Why was the survey moved to Dynamic Benchmarking platform?

    • TCIA had previously conducted a basic wage and benefit survey that members could complete manually and mail or fax back the results to the TCIA offices. A static report was provided on the results and a limited comparison of the previous year results was provided. The evolving needs and demands of compensation benchmarking, including better security have grown beyond the scope that TCIA staff could provide and led us to identify a new platform to move this important industry study in a more progressive direction.

  • What is different between this new compensation study platform and the former one?

    • The former study was a static survey conducted every year. An executive summary as well as a limited regional analysis report was generated based on the data collected. While comparative data from the previous years’ studies was included in the reports, the look back was only for one year.

      The new program is more robust look at company profiles and wage and benefits information that is completely online. It offers secure 365/24/7 access and the ability for users to provide and update data as well as generate real-time reports any time and by participating each year, users can look back over a longer timeframe to identify trends in wages and benefits.
  • Are the reports customizable?

    • Yes. The end-user is to be able to run compensation and benefits benchmarking reports based on several customizable elements. Reports are downloadable in a variety of formats including PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and offer aggregate question by questions comparisons with your industry peers.
  • Is there a minimum data point required to generate reports?

    • Yes. To ensure report integrity, for any question on the survey there will be a minimum of 5 respondents required to report on any specific data point.
  • How often will I be able to access reports?

    • The end-user will have access 365/24/7, and the data can be pulled as many times and in as many formats as the user needs within the annual subscription period. Users can download all the questions in the survey, with or without answers.
  • Will user data be retained from year to year?

    • Yes. Once you establish a user account and participate in the full online survey, for each subsequent year (or anytime during the year that you wish to update any data), your previous data will have been saved. You will only need to update data that has changed, which will save you considerable time. There is also a feature that allows users to copy over the data from the previous year to save time completing a new survey year.
  • What if the primary user for my organization changes?

    • Please contact membership@tcia.org for assistance logging in. DO NOT set up a new username and account or you will not have access to historical organization data.
  • What should I do if I have participated before but cannot remember my login credentials?

    • You can click on forgot password on welcome page.
  • How do I participate?

  • Will my compensation data be secure?

    • All personal data will be securely held and protected by Dynamic Benchmarking and subject to the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • How do I qualify for access to the results?

    • As were the requirements for the 2019 survey, users will need to complete all required questions in profile section of the survey and 50% of total amount of the survey questions.
  • Can I purchase the survey results if I choose not to participate?

    • The survey results are not available for purchase. The goal of the survey is to make it an important tool for all members and not a source to generate revenue. We hope this policy will increase participation and help ensure the quality of the data.
