Title:ASTI Tree Climber Specialist Workshop

TCIA’s Tree Care Academy Tree Climber Specialist course is designed to give an additional credential to your tree care apprentices or ground operations specialists to qualify them to transition to the role of climber.
This course, taught by TCIA certified instructor, Robert Cuilty, is built for crew members who often do not receive formal training opportunities. Completing this course will increase employee involvement with overall safety compliance and self-policing.
Benefit to Employees: Climbing Fundamentals, How to plan and execute climbing operations, Basic climbing systems/technique, Introduction to rigging for removal, 7.0 ISA and TCIA CTSP CEUs.
Benefit to Employers: Verify – according to OSHA and ANSI Z133.1 guidelines – that employees
understand basic safety concepts required to climb trees safely, Verify enrolled crew members are qualified to be a tree climber for your company.
Registration is $35 and includes a Tree Climber Specialist workbook, breakfast and lunch.
