EHAP Renewal 1
Before the employee’s EHAP has expired, TCIA will send a reminder to the company owner that the employee is due to renew EHAP. This reminder includes a copy of the employee transcript, as well as the renewal level of the employee. The company owner or employee must then order the EHAP Renewal Kit, which includes excerpts from the EHAP training manual and one test. The EHAP Renewal Kit cost is $25 for TCIA members, $35 for non TCIA members.

There are five renewals. Each renewal manual covers one of the initial EHAP manual chapters to keep important information fresh. After the fifth renewal, a new initial EHAP program must be purchased for each individual enrolled in the EHAP program. This is necessary because the EHAP program is revised approximately every 6 years to reflect changes in the ANSI Z133 Safety Standard.
